Wizards Forward Trevor Booker Makes Cosmopolitan Magazine "Hottest NBA Players" List

WASHINGTON (WUSA) -- In what is probably the most distinguished honor for any 2011-2012 Washington Wizards player, Trevor Booker has been named as one of Cosmopolitan's "Hottest NBA Players."

The 24-year-old South Carolina native was drafted by the Wizards during the first round in 2010. He's described himself to me as having a "soft heart."

Orlando's J.J. Redick sits atop the list, followed by Minnesota's Ricky Rubio and Toronto's Linas Kleiza. Check out the full list here.

I would expect Booker to keep climbing the list, as his name becomes more mainstream. Even though a foot injury caused him to miss the final portion of the season, Booker emerged as one of the best Wizards players last season.

This feature I wrote on him should explain more.

Wizards Tickets Being Sold Tonight For As Low As $1.70

WASHINGTON (WUSA) -- Are the movie theaters too expensive for you these days? That $10 to go to a museum a little too pricey?

I've got an idea for you: the Charlotte Bobcats are in town Monday night to play the Washington Wizards, and according to StubHub.com, tickets are going for as little as $1.70

The Bobcats (7-56) currently are on a 20-game losing streak and will go down as one of the worst team's in NBA history. Surprisingly enough, the Wizards (17-46) have won five of their last seven games.

Just to compare, game seven NHL tickets for the Washington Capitals versus the Boston Bruins are going for as high as $600.
