Drake Orders 40 Bottles at Popular D.C. Nightclub

You could have been partying with Drake last night had you decided to check out popular nightclub, Eden lounge. 

TMZ recently reported that rapper, Drake, stopped by Eden lounge last night in D.C., and ordered approximately 40 bottles of alcohol including Ace of Spades champagne, Cristal and Patron tequila. 

According to TMZ, the rapper arrived around midnight with an entourage of about 15-20 people including security guards and fellow rapper J Cole.

Club reps say there were no fights, all the bottles were paid for by the rapper, and that everyone left in one piece.

Buffett and David Rubenstein, The Economic Club of Washington, DC's President, are among business leaders at 25th anniversary celebration on June 5th where 10 community organizations, including the Alexandria Seaport Foundation, received a total of $500,000 in grants

The Alexandria Seaport Foundation (ASF), which offers disadvantaged youth and young adults a paid, work-based apprentice program in boat building that prepares participants for careers in the building trades, received a $50,000 grant from The Economic Club of Washington, D.C. at its 25th anniversary on June 5th at the Washington Marriott Wardman Park.

This piece was written by WUSA9 intern Caroline:  "Don't curse the rosebush because it has thorns, celebrate the thornbush because it has roses", this sentiment echoed by radio host Willie Jolley perfectly described the atmosphere at today's  "home-going service" honoring the Godfather of Go-Go which was anything but somber.

Masses of people came out with both style and soul to celebrate the great life of Chuck Brown.  A continuous line up of performers, during the arrivals portion of the event, created a concert like mood that the crowd was more than happy to keep up in both song and dance.
