Anthropologie and Pi Pizzeria To Open Next Month in Penn Quarter

Commercial real estate developer Douglas Development just announced that both Anthropologie (950 F Street, NW) and Pi Pizzeria (910 F Street, NW) will open next month in DC’s Penn Quarter neighborhood. Anthropologie will occupy 10,662 square feet of retail space on the ground floor of the Atlantic Building. Pi Pizzeria will occupy 5,500 square feet next to Amorini Panini (another Douglas Development tenant) at 910 F Street, NW. This will be the St. Louis based restaurant’s first DC location.

Top interior designers and architects stopped by including Skip Sroka, Camille Saum, Caitlin Kinkead and Liz Spencer of Lori Graham Design, Anne Jaffe, Chris Snowber and Mike Rouse of Hamilton Snowber Architects, and Pierre Lazare from Fox Architects, as well as representatives from Potomac Lighting and Wood-Mode. Celebrating its 10th year in business and co-owned by John Schmiedigen, the award-winning Aidan Design offers kitchen and bathroom designs for residential spaces.

Douglas Development and Ackman-Ziff Real Estate Group announced that they have just secured $150,000,000 mortgage for the Douglas Development-owned property at 1155 F Street NW in Washington, DC. The 10-year loan marks Douglas Development’s first major refinance in recent years and will be followed by a series of refinancings.
